Job summary
The Hospital Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s healthcare products, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, laboratory products, or healthcare services to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions. The role involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying sales opportunities, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market the company’s healthcare products and services to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, procurement officers, administrators, and other key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within assigned territories.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns for healthcare institutions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support business growth.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, deliveries, and payments.
- Ensure proper documentation of sales activities and client interactions.
- Participate in medical exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to improve client satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare products, medical regulations, and industry developments.
- Support debt collection and ensure timely payment from clients where necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Nursing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical equipment, or healthcare sales is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare personnel.
- Good presentation and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
