Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities
Sales Management & Market Development
  • Develop and execute weekly sales targets.
  • Create and implement daily market plans to maximize sales performance.
  • Assign and supervise field agents across designated markets.
  • Identify and implement strategies for market expansion and business growth.
  • Follow up with major buyers and key accounts to strengthen business relationships and increase sales volume.
Market Intelligence & Pricing
  • Monitor market activities and gather up-to-date intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
  • Ensure company products are sold within the approved pricing range.
  • Provide regular market feedback and recommendations to management.
Customer Relationship & Debt Recovery
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure customers service outstanding debts within agreed timelines.
  • Monitor debt recovery performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Team Leadership
  • Recruit, onboard, and train field sales agents.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, supervision, and performance management to sales teams.
  • Foster a results-oriented and customer-focused sales culture.
Operations & Reporting
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure adequate stock availability to meet market demand.
  • Submit daily sales reports and debt recovery reports to the Operations team.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and performance data.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in sales supervision, sales leadership, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple markets effectively.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Market expansion and customer acquisition.
  • Debt recovery performance.
  • Field agent productivity and performance.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.

Commission
  • Available upon achievement of agreed sales targets
