Role Description This is a full-time Sales Executive role based in Adenta with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site client engagement with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Executive will identify prospective clients, present suitable life assurance products, and guide customers through the sales and onboarding process. Daily activities include conducting client meetings, delivering product presentations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate sales records. The role also involves building and managing a portfolio of policyholders, providing ongoing support, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer service. The Sales Executive is expected to meet sales targets, contribute to promotional activities, and represent StarLife Assurance in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to build and manage client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident presentation and active listening abilities.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or life assurance products; experience in financial services is an advantage.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple client engagements and meet targets.
- Comfort with using digital tools and CRM or sales tracking systems to manage leads and customer information.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset, with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work setting (office and remote).
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or insurance is highly beneficial, though motivated early-career candidates may also be considered.
