Sales Associate – Cross-Border Trade (Accra Markets)

CPAYANT is looking for a driven and street-smart Sales Associate to join our Accra team. This is a hunter role — you will be actively going into Accra/Tema markets to identify and onboard businesses engaged in cross-border trade, both intra-African and global (imports/exports from the USA, Europe, China, and beyond), onto the CPAYANT. What You Will Do
- Prospect and acquire businesses in Accra markets that are involved in import/export and cross-border trade
- Onboard clients onto the CPAYANT platform for intra-African and global trade transactions
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of active trading clients
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets
- Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and growing transaction volumes
Who We Are Looking For
We have a strong preference for candidates from one of the following backgrounds:
- Microfinance banking — with an existing portfolio of business clients
- Traditional/commercial banking — specifically with experience in trade finance or trade banking, with a client portfolio
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required. Candidates without experience in microfinance or trade banking will not be considered.
Compensation
- Base fee
- Weekly stipend for sales activities
- Commission on successful transactions (primary earning component)
