Sales & Operations Manager is fully responsible for the Business operations set up, Shops Earnings, operational profitability (EBITA) & establish general store functions (Expansion and Excellence).

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Distribution (65%):
- Induce strategy based on understanding of Frozen Food product (SKUs) & demand.
- Making an Org structure for Ghana Operations to ensure right manpower (in terms of number and local experience)
- Start establishing sales channels, stores in right location, understand challenges, and potential opportunities.
- Selection and acquisition of the Shop site in developing area.
- Start Evaluating partnerships and understand the local customer behaviors / engagements.
- Making a robust strategy for cash handling, cash management, recovery etc.
- Understand Local Laws related to FMCG Distribution (specially related with FDA processes & systems for Authorization) and ensure to be followed without fail.
- Recruitment and Retention of Talents.
- Identification of various Threats, Risks associated with Internal and External environment and timely appraising the Management of its implications/ consequences.
- Market visits to understand the Competition and various competition Analysis.
Overseeing Supply Chain Management: (20%):
- Understand Procurement and Demand Planning
- Overseeing the SCM Function & Inventory management
- Freight forwarding
- Warehousing
- Distribution Channels
Trade Marketing (15%):
- Understand various marketing activities.
- Start effective marketing activities and find potential growth avenues.
Key Job Deliverables / Accountabilities (KPI's):
- Achievement of Sales Target
- Control on macro store performing indicators: Damage and Discount
- Execution and Adherence of defined SOP’s & Process
- Successful execution of Marketing Campaigns
- Maintain correct stock level: Avoid Under/Over stock situation
- Keep Shrinkage under permissible limit
- Manage all controllable cost at store level to keep operations profitable

- Store Openings (Expansions) as per Management Approvals.
Person Specification:
- Academic: Any Graduate preferably with MBA or Advanced qualification on Retail Operations / Management.
- Experience: 10-12 years. At least 5 years in senior mgt position from leading a Team.
- Working Experience of Central African countries or Middle east will be an added advantage. Preferably from FMCG (Frozen Wholesale business model)
- Knowledge: Frozen Foods Wholesale Domain & Product Knowledge, Budgeting & forecasting, SAP and POS. Market research & Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Competitive Intelligence
