About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager / Sales Agronomist to drive sales growth and provide technical agronomic support within the agrochemical sector. This role combines commercial strategy with hands-on field expertise, working closely with farmers, distributors, and key stakeholders to deliver tailored crop solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial sales strategies to grow market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and key accounts
- Provide expert agronomic advice on crop protection and agrochemical products
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Conduct product trials, demonstrations, and farmer training sessions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Achieve sales targets and manage budgets effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams to align technical and commercial objectives
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
- Proven experience in agrochemicals (essential)
- Strong sales and commercial management experience
- Solid understanding of crop protection, soil health, and farming practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
