Role Overview
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving direct and partner-led sales growth in Ghana by managing key customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and positioning Proxynet’s technology solutions across enterprise and public sector markets.
This role focuses on revenue generation, client relationship management, and solution selling across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, AV, and unified communications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Account Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise, government, and commercial sectors
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to maximize revenue and retention
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers (CIOs, IT Managers, and Procurement Heads)
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
2. Revenue Growth & Sales Execution
- Own and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain a strong and qualified sales pipeline
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → proposal → negotiation → closure
- Upsell and cross-sell Proxynet’s full solutions portfolio
3. Solution Selling & Collaboration
- Work closely with Pre-Sales Engineers to design customer-specific solutions
- Position solutions across:
- Cybersecurity
- IT infrastructure (networking, servers, storage)
- Professional AV
- Unified Communications
- Ensure alignment between customer needs and technical solutions
4. Partner & Channel Collaboration
- Collaborate with distributors and channel partners to drive joint opportunities
- Support partner-led deals and ensure successful deal closure
- Participate in joint go-to-market initiatives and campaigns
5. Client Engagement & Presentations
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and solution demos
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation
- Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders
6. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Identify high-growth verticals (banking, telecom, government, education, etc.)
- Provide feedback to management on market opportunities and challenges
KPIs & Success Metrics
- Monthly/Quarterly revenue targets
- Pipeline value and conversion rate
- Number of new accounts acquired
- Customer retention and account growth
- Deal closure rate and sales cycle efficiency
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 3–6+ years in B2B technology sales or account management
- Experience in the Ghana, West Africa market (strong advantage)

- Able to balance relationship management with aggressive sales targets
- Comfortable working with technical teams and translating solutions into business value
