Relationship Managers
Guaranty Trust Bank (GH) Limited is a multiple award winning financial Institution with a strong and reputable brand across the sub-region is seeking Relationship Managers in its Business Development and Marketing Division.
The Role
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers is assigned target market to ensure the achievement of objectives/targets of the Bank
- Ensure good relationships are maintained with existing customers and assist to formulate strategies to continually develop and penetrate new markets/relationships
- Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend on credit worthiness of customers
- Maintain good public relations with current and prospective customers
- Monitor team’s performance against monthly/quarterly/annual plans
- Keep abreast of developments that might impact the target industry, fiscal and monetary guidelines and trends in the banking and financial service industry
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of Bachelors Degree with 2nd Class (Masters Degree and or professional qualification would be an added advantage)
- A minimum of five years proven record in the performance of the above functions in a Ghanaian Financial Services industry, two of which should be in a supervisory role
Knowledge And Skills Required
- Broad appreciation of the general banking environment
- Good appreciation of financial statements and their analysis
- Effective communication skills (both written and oral) Interpersonal & negotiation skills
- Marketing & credit analysis skills
- Ability to mentor and drive team members towards the attainment of the departmental and corporate goals
- Must be creative and exhibit dynamism in the performance of functions
