Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Dental Hygienist based at Bethel Dental Clinic Ghana in Accra. The Registered Dental Hygienist will perform comprehensive oral health assessments, provide dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy, and deliver patient education on hygiene practices and disease prevention. Day-to-day tasks include scaling and polishing, applying preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants, periodontal disease management, and documenting care in patient records. The role involves close collaboration with dentists and other team members to coordinate treatment plans, ensure infection control standards, and support a safe and welcoming clinical environment. The Registered Dental Hygienist will also participate in community outreach and promote oral health awareness when needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent clinical experience
• 1 year contract
• GBT is a plus
• Competence in identifying, monitoring, and supporting treatment for Periodontal Disease as part of comprehensive oral health management.
• Valid active state license as a Dental Hygienist
• Training in infection control, sterilization protocols, and safe use of dental instruments and equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, provide education on home care routines, and build trust across diverse backgrounds.
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation and the use of dental practice management systems.
• Commitment to teamwork, professional integrity, and ongoing professional development.
