Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) based on architectural and engineering designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost planning, and value engineering assessments.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within budget.
• Assess work progress on-site and prepare interim valuations and final accounts for contractors.
• Manage contract variations and advise on cost implications of design or execution changes.
• Support tender analysis, contractor selection, and procurement of construction materials.
• Provide cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial status reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual financial obligations.
• Work collaboratively with site engineers, architects, and finance teams on project reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cost management of construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software tools (e.g., CostX, WinQS).
• Membership with a professional body (e.g., Ghana Institution of Surveyors) is an added advantage.

Salary Range: GHS 4,000 – GHS 8,000
