QHSE Officer – (Female)
Job summary
To ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards across all operational activities, and to promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures, and systems across operations and laboratories.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Ensure all staff follow HSE procedures and properly use PPE at all times.
- Provide QHSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to employees.
- Maintain QHSE records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Support internal and external audits (client, regulatory, certification bodies).
- Promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Safety, or related field.
- Professional QHSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) preferred.
- 2–5 years’ experience in QHSE within oil & gas, inspection, or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive safety mindset.
- Mix of office and field-based work.
- Regular site visits to terminals, labs, and operational areas.
- May require extended hours during audits or incident investigations.
