Job Summary
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will draw on your testing and coding knowledge and creativity to design tests, and maintenance procedures, and automate test capabilities in order to make sure that Mixmax delivers high-quality solutions to its clients. Your role is an essential part of the software development life cycle, as besides working very closely with our development teams to provide the best product possible, you will also get the chance to work on establishing our test frameworks or on creating your own to tackle specific problems put in front of you.

Job Description/Requirements
Preferred Skills and Background:
- 3+ years of experience
- Proven experience in software quality assurance
- Attention to details and passion/knack for bug detection
- Ability to think "destructively" in order to add quality to Mixmax product
- QA advocate
- Great knowledge of testing theory/principles with ability to demonstrate it on concrete examples
- Great knowledge of at least one programming language (NodeJS, Javascript, Python, Ruby...) and industry standard test frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, Puppeteer…)
- Confident using Git
- Confident using Linux, in particular terminal/cli commands
- Knowledge and experience using CI/CD processes and tools
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Time management flexibility
Bonus Points:
- Experience with bash scripting, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud environments/services like AWS
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Understanding of agile principles (Scrum, Kanban)
- Have worked in a distributed codebase with microservices and defined testing protocols and tools for end to end testing.
- Familiar with data analysis tools and have experience owning failure analysis investigations.
- Have experience digging into and debugging performance issues and reports.
