PUPIL LAWYER – LITIGATION

Nartey Law Firm is seeking a competent, litigation-focused lawyer enrolled at the Ghanaian Bar to join its team as a Pupil. The successful candidate will support the firm across litigation, client matters, corporate documentation and legal research.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Represent clients at meetings, hearings and trials, and consult with clients to assess case details and merits.

2.     Research legislation, case law and other legal materials; draft contracts, pleadings, reports and other legal documents.

3.     Assist with corporate documentation, agreements, due diligence, document reviews and regulatory liaison.

4.     Prepare research articles for publication and stay current with legislative developments.

5.     Use appropriate legal technology and AI-assisted tools to improve research and workflow while maintaining professional judgment and ethical standards.

6.     Undertake other assignments as directed by the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

1.     Enrolled at the Ghanaian Bar and holds an LLB from a recognised university or institution.

2.     Interest in litigation; prior litigation experience is an advantage.

3.     Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive, with demonstrated ability to use legal technology and AI-assisted tools.

4.     Strong legal drafting, analytical, organisational and communication skills, with excellent spoken and written English.

5.     High integrity and professionalism; detail-oriented, proactive, punctual, reliable and able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
