Project Manager
Job summary
The Project Manager shall plan, coordinate and deliver projects on time, within budget and to the agreed quality standards. You shall lead cross-functional teams, manage sub-contractors, and keep projects on track by managing risks, resources and budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets in consultation with the Construction Manager
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and work breakdown structures
- Lead and motivate project teams, allocating tasks and resources effectively
- Monitor progress, costs and quality, and take corrective action where needed
- Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues, with clear escalation paths
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with relevant Ghanaian laws, regulations, licensing and permit requirements, as well as health and safety standards
- Prepare regular status reports, budget forecasts and presentations for senior management and clients
- Run project close-out, including handover, lessons learned and final reporting
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving project management processes
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management or a related field
- At least 8 years of project management experience, with a record of delivering projects on time and on budget
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or hybrid)
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong budgeting, financial and risk management skills
Desirable
- PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP or equivalent certification
- Master's degree (e.g. MBA or MSc in Project Management, Construction Management)
- Experience managing large scale building projects across multiple sectors
