Your mission as a Project Lead
As a Project Lead, you will drive the success of assigned customer contracts by serving as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, and high customer satisfaction. You will align customer objectives with Epiroc’s products and services, provide commercial and technical support, manage labour, spare parts, materials, and assets efficiently to meet maintenance KPIs and budget targets, and create opportunities to expand or initiate new service agreements.
What you’ll do
Lead Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) activities by conducting incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, executing safety campaigns, and communicating factory-issued safety and machine improvement updates. Deliver service agreements effectively by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing performance data, and continuously improving operational execution against contractual requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and contractual responsibilities across the service organization. Lead people performance and capability development by implementing performance management systems, preparing annual training programs, mapping competencies, and supporting structured career development. Manage service contract financial performance by controlling costs, aligning contract expenditure to budget, and ensuring delivery within approved financial parameters. Execute service operations in line with contractual KPIs by achieving targets for availability, MTBF, MTBS, MTTR, and overall equipment reliability. Ensure maintenance quality and execution excellence through technician audits, participation in critical machine failure analysis, and optimization of maintenance strategies and quality control. Manage spare parts, components, and warehouse operations by ensuring stock availability, warranty compliance, physical inventory accuracy, cost analysis, and suitable storage conditions. Drive effective maintenance planning and resource readiness by coordinating spare parts, consumables, tools, equipment, and component replacement programs to support planned and unplanned maintenance. Monitor, analyse, and report service contract performance by preparing structured reports, presenting insights to stakeholders, and supporting commissioning, start-up activities, and long-term customer objectives.
What you’ll bring
. Strong technical background in Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) maintenance Proven people leadership capability. Sound experience operating in SHEQ-critical mining environments. Well-developed analytical and reporting skills. Prior experience with understanding of automation and digitization required. Familiarity with Epiroc applications such as BPCS, MOL, IQ, DOCMINE etc. is a plus, along with theoretical and practical knowledge in their use
