Role Description The Program Ideation and Content Lead is a part-time remote role responsible for designing, shaping, and refining program concepts across IHRDC’s three pillars of work. This role involves developing curriculum and learning frameworks, drafting program outlines, and producing clear, engaging content for workshops, toolkits, outreach materials, and digital platforms. The individual will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate organizational goals into practical learning experiences, resources, and interventions. Daily activities include researching human development trends, synthesizing insights into program proposals, creating participant materials, and revising content based on feedback and impact assessments. The role also includes coordinating timelines for content development, maintaining documentation for programs, and ensuring alignment with IHRDC’s vision of empowering purpose and transforming society.

Qualifications

  • Program design and development skills, including experience in curriculum creation, learning frameworks, and educational content structuring.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation abilities for workshop materials, toolkits, digital content, and outreach communications.
  • Research and analytical skills to gather insights on human development, education, leadership, and community impact and turn them into actionable program ideas.
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with educators, counselors, community leaders, and organizational partners.
  • Project coordination and time management skills to handle multiple content streams and meet deadlines in a remote, part-time setting.
  • Background or strong interest in human development, psychology, education, youth development, or social impact fields.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in en_US, with inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, social sciences, communications, psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools and digital platforms for content development, documentation, and communication.
  • This is a volunteering role. As a pro youth organization, we encourage youth between the ages 18-25 who are seeking the opportunity to gain hands on experience ina thriving team to apply.
