Traaple helps people discover, participate in, and book experiences, events, and activities. We are building the infrastructure connecting creators, communities, institutions, and experiences across Africa.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organized Producer who can plan, coordinate, shoot, and deliver content that supports Traaple’s growth. This person will serve as the operational backbone of content production across the Company. They must be comfortable both behind a camera and behind a production schedule.

Responsibilities -

Production Planning

- Develop monthly content calendars

- Coordinate shoots

- Manage production logistics

- Prepare shot lists and production briefs

- Coordinate talent, creators, and partners

Content Production

- Shoot high-quality photo and video content

- Capture events, experiences, creators, and partnerships

- Produce content optimized for social platforms

- Operate cameras and basic audio equipment

Content Operations

- Manage content pipeline from planning to publication

- Ensure assets are delivered on time

- Organize media libraries

- Coordinate with designers, editors, and marketing team members

Event Coverage

- Cover experiences, activations, launches, and community events

- Work evenings and weekends when required

- Capture content in fast-moving environments

Performance Mindset

- Understand what content drives engagement, participation, and bookings

- Recommend improvements based on results

- Work closely with Growth, Partnerships, and Creator teams

Requirements

- Strong photography and videography skills

- Ability to shoot independently

- Experience editing short-form content

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Comfortable working in a startup environment

- Reliable and highly accountable

Preferred

- Experience covering events and experiences

- Drone certification or drone experience

- Experience working with creators and influencers

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools

Success Metrics

Within 90 days:

- Consistent production calendar in place

- Improved turnaround times

- Reliable event coverage

- Increased content output

- Strong collaboration across teams

- Content supporting measurable growth and participation

This role is for someone who enjoys both creating and coordinating. We are not looking

for a pure creative. We are looking for a producer who can help Traaple execute at

scale.
