Plant Manager

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) is a leading Coca-Cola bottler across North and West Africa. We are seeking a results-driven Plant Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership at our Accra manufacturing facility. This role holds full responsibility for production performance, people leadership, safety, quality, and cost management, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in line with Coca-Cola standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide overall leadership for all plant operations (Safety, Quality, Production, Utilities, Process, Maintenance), ensuring alignment with business objectives and Coca-Cola operational standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and streamline production and support functions to ensure effective resource utilization.
• Develop, manage, and control plant operating budgets, capital expenditures, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, etc.) to optimize end-to-end operations and performance.
• Monitor plant performance using defined KPIs and drive actions to improve efficiency, cost control, and quality.
• Champion continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, Operational Excellence programs).
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure a “zero-harm” mindset across all plant activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or master’s degree is a plus).
• 15+ years of experience in beverage/FMCG manufacturing operations, including 6+ years in a Plant Manager or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing complex manufacturing operations and multi-disciplinary teams, with sustained improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and safety.
