Job Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll for thousands of employees, ensuring accuracy and timely salary payments.
Calculate payroll based on attendance, overtime, shift allowances, bonuses, leave, and other payroll-related data.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the HR system.
Reconcile payroll data and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Process statutory deductions and submissions, including PAYE, SSNIT, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Pension contributions.
Provide payroll reports and support labor cost analysis and budgeting.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxation, and statutory benefits.
Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience
One year or more of payroll management experience preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment or managing payroll for a large workforce is preferred.
Familiarity with shift-based and piece-rate payroll is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of Ghana Labour Law and statutory payroll requirements.
Familiarity with PAYE, SSNIT, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Pension administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll data analysis.
Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, communication, and problem-solving skills.
