Job Summary

MobiMed Pharmacy Ltd is delighted to have you join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists by assisting with the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to patients, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and regulatory compliance.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with dispensing medications to patients, following instructions and adhering to labeling requirements.
  • Count medications accurately and ensure correct dosage is provided.
  • Prepare medication labels with clear instructions for patients.
  • Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, providing clear and accurate medication information.
  • Answer patient questions about over-the-counter medications and refer complex inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Process payments for medication purchases, ensuring accurate transactions.
  • Assist with maintaining pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, rotating medications, identifying potential stock shortages and participating in stock taking.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying new medication deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and sales.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the pharmacy.


Requirements:

  1. Must possess a Medical Counter Assistant (MCA) Certificate from a recognized institution.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in a community or hospital pharmacy setting (experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage).
  3. Basic knowledge of medicines, prescription handling, and pharmacy operations.
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional and empathetic attitude.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing, labeling, and record-keeping.
  6. Ability to use basic computer applications or pharmacy management systems.
  7. Organized, reliable, and a good team player able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
  8. Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling patient and pharmacy information.
