Led by Bishop Dr. Peter Osei Akoto, the organization is affiliated with the Ghana Mathematical Association and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Gambia (MoBSE). Mezzo Maths focuses on delivering simple, friendly, and entertaining methods to help children build confidence and genuine interest in mathematics. Role Description The Maths Tutor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Accra. The tutor will deliver engaging maths lessons using the Mezzo Maths methodology, supporting learners to understand core concepts and develop problem-solving skills. Daily tasks include planning and delivering lessons, providing one-on-one and small-group support, assessing learner progress, and offering constructive feedback. The tutor will prepare learning materials, participate in training sessions, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of student performance and communicating progress to relevant stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Mathematics, including topics such as Algebra and problem-solving techniques.
• Demonstrated Tutoring and Online Tutoring experience, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear explanation of mathematical concepts and active listening.
• Relevant academic background in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification or certification is an advantage.
• Experience working with children or young learners and a genuine interest in learner-centered, engaging maths education.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, manage classroom dynamics, and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
