Our client is one of the leading agro-processing companies in Ghana and across Africa.

Scope

The Marketing Officer will support the planning and execution of marketing activities targeted at farmers, agro-dealers, and the general public. The role will contribute to digital marketing, farmer and dealer engagement, brand and product support, marketing campaigns, and the coordination of marketing activities to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies targeting farmers and agro-dealers.
  
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and initiatives to engage target audiences.
  
• Support the development of marketing materials and promotional collateral.
  
• Manage social media platforms and develop content targeted at farmers, agro-dealers, and the general public.
  
• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across owned digital channels and relevant Digital PR platforms.
  
• Monitor digital marketing performance and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  
• Prepare and maintain monthly content calendars for review and approval by the Marketing Lead and Commercial Manager.
  
• Plan and coordinate engagement activities including farm visits, workshops, training sessions, and product demonstrations.
  
• Ensure consistency and compliance with brand guidelines across marketing materials and activities.
  
• Work closely with the Sales team to align marketing activities with commercial objectives
  
• Coordinate with Sales teams to provide the necessary marketing materials and support for farmer and dealer engagement.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of farmers and agro-dealers for targeted marketing activities.
  
• Assist with tracking marketing budgets and expenses related to engagement activities.
  
• Coordinate logistics and administrative requirements for marketing events and activities.
  
• Prepare weekly activity updates and project reports to monitor progress, trends, and key insights.
  
• Coordinate requests for branded collateral in line with the approved marketing calendar and procurement cycles.
  
• Process requests for branded materials, petty cash, and approved marketing projects in accordance with established procedures.
  
• Ensure marketing activities and projects are properly documented and reported.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Management Studies, Public Relations, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in marketing, preferably within a commercial, agricultural, FMCG, or related environment.
  
• Experience in digital marketing, social media management, event coordination, or customer engagement will be an advantage.
  
• Experience working in field-based customer engagement activities is preferred.
  
• Practical proficiency with camera usage.
  
• Candidates should have knowledge of current affairs.
  
• Proficient in basic computer software and modern digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and basic design platforms like Canva.
