Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Manager based in Accra.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies that drive platform growth, seller onboarding, customer acquisition, and revenue performance.
The role involves leading digital and offline marketing initiatives, managing brand visibility, analyzing campaign performance, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve business objectives. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in strengthening Ololo Express’s market position as a trusted e-commerce and logistics platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow buyers, sellers, and logistics clients
- Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO, paid ads, email, and SMS
- Drive seller acquisition, product visibility, and marketplace engagement
- Analyze marketing data, customer behavior, and campaign performance to optimize results
- Manage brand messaging and ensure consistency across all marketing channels
- Collaborate with operations, customer support, and tech teams to improve user experience
- Support promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and partnerships
- Prepare marketing reports and present insights to management
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance and identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration and external engagement
- Proven experience in digital marketing, brand management, or growth marketing
- Understanding of customer acquisition, retention, and sales funnels
- Basic financial knowledge to support budgeting, ROI analysis, and campaign planning
- Ability to work on-site in Accra within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or tech-driven businesses is a strong advantage
