Marketing and Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and sales plans aligned with the company's growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, corporate accounts, partnerships and customer segments.
• Promote the company's flight ticketing, tour packages, hotel reservations and other travel-related services.
• Generate leads through direct sales, networking, referrals, digital platforms and other marketing channels.
• Follow up on customer enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate where appropriate and convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
• Build and maintain relationships with individual customers, corporate clients, travel partners and other stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, industry trends and new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns, sales initiatives and customer acquisition activities.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to support online promotions, campaigns and lead generation.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and marketing materials to support business development.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business, customer retention, cross-selling and upselling of travel services.
• Prepare periodic marketing and sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, pipeline opportunities and recommended actions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelors degree, HND or relevant qualification in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Tourism or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development or a related commercial role.
• Experience in the travel and tourism, hospitality or service industry will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, develop customer relationships and convert sales opportunities.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of customer acquisition, sales pipeline management and market research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
