Kotlin Developer

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Java/Kotlin Developer with a strong background in application development and hands-on experience with EMV-based systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building, enhancing, and maintaining secure and high-performance applications that integrate with payment terminals, card processors, and backend services.

This role requires a developer who understands both the technical and compliance aspects of the EMV ecosystem, including transaction processing, card data security, and POS device integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Kotlin for Android and backend environments.
• Implement and integrate EMV kernel operations for chip-based card processing.
• Collaborate with payment processors, acquirers, and gateway partners to ensure seamless EMV transaction flows.
• Work closely with hardware teams to support POS terminal integrations, device communication, and SDK management.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, EMVCo, and industry security standards.
• Debug, test, and optimize transaction flows to ensure reliability and low latency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend engineers, QA testers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document technical processes and integration guides for internal and external teams.
