Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D renderings
- Select materials, furniture, fixtures, color schemes, and finishes
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients for approval
- Source suppliers, vendors, and contractors for materials and furnishings
- Oversee project execution to ensure designs are implemented correctly
- Ensure all designs comply with safety codes and regulations
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degre in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 2–5 years of proven experience as an Interior Designer
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop)
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects
- Excellent understanding of space planning and design principles
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Creativity and keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of current design trends and sustainable design practices
