Role Description This full-time, on-site Ice Skating Instructor role is based at our facility at Atlantic Mall, Accra. The instructor will teach ice skating skills to guests of various ages and ability levels, from first-time skaters to more advanced participants. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and leading group and individual lessons, demonstrating safe skating techniques, and providing clear, encouraging feedback. The role involves monitoring the ice rink for safety, assisting with equipment such as skates and protective gear, and supporting rink operations as needed. The instructor will also engage warmly with visitors, answer questions, and help create a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Skating skills, with the ability to demonstrate proper technique and safety.
• Candidates should possess Figure Skating experience, including basic spins, jumps, or choreographed routines suitable for instruction.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Previous experience teaching or coaching in sports or recreation environments is beneficial.
• Ability to supervise groups safely, respond calmly to incidents, and follow facility safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by entertainment and recreational schedules.
• Basic first aid knowledge or certification is an advantage.
