About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities
- Installing split units, central air systems, chillers, and cold room equipment.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Handling refrigerants safely and checking for leaks.
- Replacing parts such as compressors, motors, filters, and thermostats.
- Reading basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Keeping service records and reporting on completed work.
- Following site safety rules and leaving work areas clean.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of professional HVAC or refrigeration experience.
- Trade certification or technical training (e.g., NVTI, City & Guilds, or technical school diploma), or equivalent proven experience.
- Experience with both installation and repair work.
- Working knowledge of refrigerants, gauges, and basic electrical testing.
- Own basic tools and test equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with supervisors and clients.
- Right to work in Ghana or Nigeria.
- Willingness to work across different sites and locations.
Preferred
- Experience with commercial chillers, VRF systems, or cold storage.
- Refrigerant handling certification or ozone safe practice training.
- Experience on construction or facilities maintenance projects.
- Basic electrical or controls knowledge.
- Valid driving licence.
- Basic customer service skills for client-facing work.
