Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HSE Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and create a safe working environment.

Job Description/Requirements
- Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Analyze incident reports and trends to develop strategies for accident prevention.
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental awareness.
- Collaborate with department heads to tailor training sessions to specific job roles and hazards.
- Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
- Implement initiatives to encourage employee engagement in safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incidents.
- Prepare regular reports for management on the status of HSE programs
- Any other duties as assigned by the HSSE Supervisor
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSE role.
- Proven track record of successful implementation of safety and environmental programs.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of local HSE and EPA regulations.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate safety concepts to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positive change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically and develop effective solutions to complex HSE challenges.
