Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the institution's accounting and financial reporting functions.
- Prepare and review periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
- Monitor income, expenditure, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank, ledger, and other financial accounts.
- Provide oversight of treasury and liquidity management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
- Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Provide management with financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory financial returns.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAG, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- 5–7 years' relevant experience, including senior finance/accounting responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical and leadership abilities.
