Job summary
The Head of Deposit-Taking will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the institution's deposit portfolio, attract new customers, retain existing customers, and establish a strong and sustainable funding base.

- Develop and implement deposit mobilization strategies.
- Set and monitor deposit growth targets for relevant teams and branches.
- Identify new customer segments and deposit mobilization opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional customers.
- Develop initiatives to improve customer retention and deposit balances.
- Monitor deposit performance and prepare regular reports for management.
- Work closely with the marketing and business development teams to drive customer acquisition.
- Identify opportunities for new deposit products and services.
- Ensure deposit-taking activities comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and motivation to deposit mobilization teams.
- Degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in deposit mobilization, retail banking, microfinance, or financial services.
- Demonstrable record of achieving business development and deposit growth targets.
- Strong sales, relationship management, communication, and leadership skills.
- High ethical standards and unquestionable integrity.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
