Full Stack Software Developer

🧾 Job Summary:

Waltergates Ghana Limited is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies, mobile development, DevOps, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Laravel, React.js, Flutter, MySQL/PostgreSQL database administration, and cloud server deployment using Linux-based VPS environments.

🧠 Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Laravel and React.js.

·        Develop and manage cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.

·        Design and administer MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

·        Deploy applications on VPS/Linux servers, including configuration and troubleshooting of LAMP/LEMP stacks.

·        Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and perform DevOps tasks.

·        Ensure high availability and performance of applications through cloud services (AWS, Azure, or similar).

·        Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to implement effective front-end solutions.

·        Maintain code integrity, security, and documentation across projects.

·        Manage version control using Git and deploy updates in a structured development environment.

·        Monitor and optimize system performance, usage, and security.

🧩 Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

·        3+ years of proven full-stack development experience.

·        Strong proficiency in:

 - Laravel (PHP framework)

 - React.js (Frontend)

 - Flutter (Mobile App Development)

 - MySQL and PostgreSQL (Database Administration)

 - DevOps tools and VPS deployment

·        Experience with Linux server administration and basic shell scripting.

·        Good understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth, and secure authentication methods.

·        Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean).

·        Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

💼 Preferred Experience (Added Advantage):

·        Experience integrating third-party APIs, SMS, USSD, payment gateways, etc.

·        Knowledge of Agile development and project management tools like Jira or Trello.

·        Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and serverless deployments.
