Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions that support our growing suite of digital products.

You will work across both front-end and back-end systems, contributing to scalable applications, APIs, and integrations that drive business growth and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications across the full stack
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services (payments, telecom, airtime, etc.)
• Develop responsive and high-performance user interfaces
• Architect backend systems, databases, and microservices for reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver functional solutions
• Optimize applications for speed, security, and performance
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and best practices
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5+ years experience in full stack development
• Strong proficiency in:
• Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Next.js or similar
• Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with testing (unit, integration) and performance optimization

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in fintech, payments, or telecom systems
• Familiarity with USSD, mobile money, or airtime integrations
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Understanding of security best practices in financial systems
• Experience working in Agile environments
