Job Description/Requirements
Job Description:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the school's overall objectives.
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Supervise the finance team and provide leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the school's assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare financial statements(Annual, Bi-Annual, Termly, Monthly)reports, and presentations for the schools board of directors and other stakeholders.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
Qualification:
- Must be a fully qualified Accountant with minimum of two years experience
