Vanguard Assurance Company Ltd, a major player in the insurance industry has vacancy for the position of Financial Controller
Duties
- Overall supervision of the Finance Function of the company
- Preparation of periodic Management and Financial reports
- Managing the credit control function
- Preparation of annual and periodic forecasts and budgets
- Any other duties assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
Person Specification
- A University Degree in Finance or related field
- A member of a professional body such as CIMA,ICA(GH),ACCAetc
- At least 5 years post qualification experience in a senior management capacity. Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage
- An MBA in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage
- Must be a team player with excellent people management skills
