Finance Manager

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

1. Minimum 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, or above.

2. ICAG qualified, or has completed all ICAG professional examinations.

Full membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) is strongly preferred.

3. Proven experience independently handling full-set accounting.

4. Proven experience independently completing monthly and year-end closing.

5. Previous experience dealing directly with external auditors, including preparation of audit schedules, responding to audit queries and handling audit adjustments.

6. Previous experience dealing directly with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and Ghana tax compliance, including PAYE, VAT, withholding tax and Corporate Income Tax.

7. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and Ghana tax requirements.

8. Strong Excel skills and practical experience using accounting or ERP systems.

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be given preference:

- Automotive industry

- Importation and trading

We are looking for a practical and hands-on finance professional who can independently:

Maintain the books → reconcile the accounts → close the month → prepare financial statements → handle tax compliance → support external audits → explain the financial results to management.

This position is best suited to someone who has previously acted as the main accountant, Senior Accountant, Chief Accountant or Finance Manager of a company and has independently taken responsibility for the company’s accounting records, tax compliance and statutory audit.
