We are excited to support our client, a leading financial services company (Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution) to recruit a Finance & Financial Analytics Lead to manage accounting and finance operations, oversee financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance, particularly with the Bank of Ghana.
The individual will also drive financial modeling, product analysis, and data-driven insight generation to support strategy and decision-making. Experience with technology, automation, or data tools is a significant advantage.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting & Financial Operations
• Manage the general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries, and month-end
close
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (IFRS / Ghana
standards)
• Oversee cash management, reconciliations, payables, receivables, and expense
tracking
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for financial products, funding, and
investments
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls
B. Regulatory Reporting
• Prepare and submit statutory reports to the Bank of Ghana accurately and on
time
• Ensure compliance with SDTI guidelines, tax rules, and regulatory standards
• Maintain financial documentation for audit and regulatory inspection• Engage with external auditors, tax authorities, and compliance stakeholders
C. Financial Modeling & Analysis
• Build and maintain models for product pricing, profitability, risk, provisioning, and
cost of funds
• Prepare management reports with insights on revenue, cashflows, loan
performance, margins
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to guide decision-making
• Support fundraising and investor relations with projections and financial packs
D. Technology, Data & Automation
• Support automation of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Collaborate with tech/data teams to integrate financial data sources
• Recommend improvements to systems for transparency, efficiency and scale
• Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or Python (advantage but not required)
3. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification preferred: ACCA, ICA, CIMA and CPA
• 5–8+ years in finance, accounting, audit, or financial analysis
(banking/fintech/NBFI preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Bank of Ghana reporting formats, and tax regulations
• Proven financial modeling and advanced Excel capability
• Experience with accounting systems (Sage, QuickBooks and ERP)
