About The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse officer to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse officer responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Receive, store, and manage incoming products in strict accordance with BURN’s standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the safe, timely, and efficient movement of inventory across the last-mile distribution network.
- Oversee stock storage, including if required proper tagging, labelling, and organization of inventory.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of all inventory transactions to minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies.
- Provide daily stock status reports to the Field Operations Manager.
- Ensure reverse logistics inventory (returns, swaps, repairs) is recovered and processed in line with approved BURN procedures.
- Stock Taking & Inventory Controls
- Plan, manage, and execute scheduled Wall-Wall/ Cycle stock takes.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations, working closely with the Field Ops HQ team.
- Investigate and escalate variances identified during stock counts and reconciliation exercises.
- Forecasting & Replenishment
- Monitor daily sales run rates to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Raise replenishment requests and manage inbound stock transfers from regional stock points or the main warehouse based on demand trends.
- Support demand planning by providing accurate stock and movement data.
- Aftersales & Repairs
- Receive defective or returned products and communicate clear resolution timelines to customers
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and repairs where approved, or coordinate with designated repair teams.
- Maintain and share aftersales and repairs reports following issue resolution
Skills And Experience
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Diploma in supply chain management or relevant qualifications
