Duties and Responsibilities
Event Operations
- Conduct pre-event site assessments and equipment setup
- Manage onsite registration systems and ensure smooth operations
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain service quality throughout events
- Oversee equipment packing and post-event procedures
Financial Management
- Prepare and submit financial reports after each event
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teams for events
- Create schedules and assign roles to team members
- Build and maintain a reliable pool of trained volunteers
Business Development
- Identify and engage potential clients at events
- Conduct product demonstrations and qualify leads
- Schedule follow-up meetings with prospective clients
- Represent Wow Logbook professionally at all events
Reporting
- Submit post-event reports including attendance statistics and operational insights
- Maintain clear communication with management and clients
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 4 years in event management, operations, or customer service
- Team management or volunteer coordination experience preferred
Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic technical aptitude
- Financial literacy and attention to detail
- Sales-oriented mindset
Practical Requirements
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel to event venues across Ghana
- Fluency in English and at least one Ghanaian language
