Draughtsman

Job Description:

• Develop and produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to gather requirements and provide design solutions that meet project objectives.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the final documents.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create high-quality, precise schematics and blueprints.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure all files are up to date and easily accessible.
• Mentor junior draughtsman and provide guidance on best practices in drafting and design methodologies.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, challenges, and solutions, contributing valuable insights to enhance project outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify dimensions for project accuracy
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and troubleshoot design challenges
• Maintain organized documentation and records of all design iterations and revisions

Requirement:

• 5+ years of experience as a draughtsman in engineering or architectural environments.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and visualization tools
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to the industry.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Experience with project management software and collaborative design platforms.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming design challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of drafting and design.
