Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dispatch Rider role based in Accra. The Dispatch Rider will be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, and delivering packages, documents, and goods to clients and internal locations within assigned routes. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, verifying delivery information, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery, and ensuring timely dispatch according to company schedules. The role involves performing basic vehicle or motorcycle checks, reporting maintenance needs, and complying with traffic regulations and company safety policies. The Dispatch Rider will also communicate with the logistics team and customers to provide status updates, handle queries professionally, and support other operational activities as required.
Qualifications

• Strong road safety awareness, excellent riding skills, and a valid rider’s license for commercial or professional use.
• Good knowledge of Accra routes and traffic patterns, with the ability to plan efficient delivery schedules.
• Reliable time management, attention to detail in handling packages and documents, and basic record-keeping abilities.
• Clear verbal communication skills and a customer-focused approach to interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to read and follow delivery instructions, use mobile phones or basic navigation tools, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive or high-value items.
• Physical fitness to handle frequent riding, loading, and unloading of packages in varying weather conditions.
• Previous experience as a dispatch rider or in delivery/logistics operations is an advantage; familiarity with corporate logistics or supply chain environments is beneficial.
