Job Description/Requirements
- Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on cloud security, network security, risk assessment, penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, intrusion detection, threat intelligence, identity management, and other relevant cybersecurity topics.
- Curriculum Development: Create and update training materials, modules, and resources covering various cybersecurity domains, ensuring alignment with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Facilitate Training Sessions: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for diverse audiences, including employees, students, and community members, to enhance their understanding and skills in cybersecurity.
- Skill Development: Provide practical guidance and hands-on exercises to help participants develop proficiency in coding, networking, system administration, hacking skills, and other technical areas relevant to cybersecurity.
- Evaluation and Assessment: Assess participant learning outcomes through quizzes, exams, practical assessments, and simulations, and provide constructive feedback to support their continuous improvement and development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external partners to coordinate training initiatives, leverage resources, and ensure the relevance and effectiveness of cybersecurity education programs.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, tools, and best practices through continuous learning, professional development, and participation in industry conferences and forums.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/HND in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience in cybersecurity training, education, or facilitation role, with a strong understanding of cloud security, network security, risk assessment, penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, intrusion detection, threat intelligence, and identity management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in coding (e.g., Python, Java), networking protocols, and system administration, with hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap), and digital forensics tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and accessible manner to diverse audiences.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess cybersecurity risks, analyze security incidents, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications in cybersecurity, cloud security, network security, or related areas are highly desirable and demonstrate expertise and commitment to professional development.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing technologies, threats, and training needs, and willingness to continuously learn and evolve in a dynamic cybersecurity landscape.
