Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef with 2–3 years of experience to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing both continental and local dishes, maintain high standards of food quality, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of continental and local dishes to a high standard
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen always
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes when required
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or waste
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Location: Ayikuma, Dodowa
Working Arrangements: Wednesday - Sunday (12pm - 9pm)
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of both continental and local cuisines
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage
- Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
