About the Role
Working as part of specialist conveyor maintenance teams, you will support major mining operations and contractors through installation, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belt systems both onsite and in workshop environments.
Typical duties include:

• Conveyor belt splicing (steel cord, fabric, and solid woven belts)
• Hot and cold belt repairs
• Conveyor belt installations and change-outs
• Pulley lagging, roller replacement, and belt cleaner maintenance
• Shutdown maintenance and breakdown response
• Inspection and fault identification of conveyor systems
• Operating belt handling and vulcanising equipment
• Maintaining strict safety and quality standards on mine sites

Roles may include FIFO, site-based, or regional workshop/service positions depending on experience and project requirements.

Requirements
To be successful in these roles, candidates will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Splicer or Conveyor Technician
• Experience with steel cord and fabric belt splicing
• Strong commitment to safety in mining or heavy industry environments
• Ability to work in remote or environments
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications (advantageous)
• High-risk licences (Working at Heights, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift) desirable

Mine-site experience is highly regarded but not essential for all roles.
