Contract Ui/ux Designer (2-month Contract W/ Possible Extension)

Beron Intelligence delivers cloud, software, AI, analytics & managed IT services across government, corporate, NGO and individual clients globally.
We’re scaling up our design function and are looking for a skilled UI/UX designer to take over existing web & mobile app design efforts.
Role Summary:
We’re seeking a talented UI/UX designer who can take ownership of both responsive web and mobile app interfaces. This is a short-term contract (2 months) with strong possibility of extension based on performance and project pipeline. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, attractive, and consistent user experiences for small projects with a tight Deadline.
Responsibilities:

• Design responsive web interfaces and mobile app screens (iOS & Android)
• Apply solid UI/UX principles (information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, accessibility)
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes and high-fidelity designs
• Work closely with developers to ensure design integrity during implementation
• Ensure consistency of brand/UI patterns across products
• Conduct basic usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback
• Deliver design assets and documentation for hand-off
• Meet project deadlines and work efficiently within a contract timeframe
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer for both web and mobile apps
• Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design and mobile app design
• Excellent knowledge of UI/UX design principles, user-centred design processes and mobile app experience
• Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools
• Understanding of responsive web design, breakpoints, mobile vs desktop considerations
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and stakeholders
• Ability to hit the ground running, work independently and deliver under a short contract
• Bonus: Experience working within agile teams, familiarity with front-end implementation constraints
