Job Summary
To support the retention of long-term quality clients and optimizing profitability by ensuring that each construction Project is delivered in accordance with the design, specification, schedule, prescribed quality and budget to meet or exceed the client’s expectation through planning, coordination and controlling all projects from beginning to completion.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic work:
- Perform risk management to minimize risks associated with project
- Is fully responsible for completing projects on time
- Is fully responsible for maintaining safety standards during construction projects.
- Ensures that construction projects and personnel are adequately resourced.
- Approves and manages the construction programme
- Oversees the construction of multiple projects
- Lead the team in Planning construction projects.
- Measures project performance
- To ensure that each Subcontractor has completed his contractual requirements as condition precedent to beginning his work at the jobsite.
- To develop quality control procedures to be used on site to ensure that the construction project is neat and free of defects.
Tactical work:
- Prepares monthly progress and financial reports on all projects for submittal to management
- Represent the company in site meetings and report progress
- Develop programme schedule for large projects
- Prepare method statement for projects
- Approve construction programmes submitted by project superintendents
- Approves the resources needed for projects
- Develops deliverable milestones
- Organize weekly meeting to manage progress, ensuring that the project is running on
- time and according to budget.
- Assembles all the resources needed for a project.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of masters degree in Civil engineering, Construction Technology management or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years experience in the construction industry with at least 7 years as a project manager or construction manager
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Experience in managing people and good leadership skills, excellent reporting
- Familiarity with construction management softwares
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Excellent time and project management skills
Key Performance Measures:
- 95% of identified risks with mitigation plans in place
- 90 % of projects completed by agreed deadline
- Number of safety violations per project
- 100% of projects with adequate staffing and equipment from start
- 90% of projects following approved programme without deviation
- 100% of monthly reports submitted on or before deadline
- 80% Average project score based on delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
