Carpenter

Role Description

BOT Properties is seeking a skilled Carpenter for an on-site, full-time role located in Legon. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and repairs. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with hand tools and power tools, constructing and repairing structures, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Construct and install formwork for beams, columns, slabs, and foundations
• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately
• Install doors, frames, partitions, and other wooden fixtures
• Ensure alignment, leveling, and structural integrity of all carpentry works
• Repair and maintain existing wooden structures
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry
• Experience with both Hand Tools and Power Tools
• Skilled in Framing and constructing structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
• Understanding of workplace safety protocols
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle demanding manual tasks
• Proven experience in residential or commercial carpentry is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
