Job Summary
A School is seeking a qualified Career Technology Teacher to teach Junior High School students, with a strong focus on JHS3 examination preparation. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical, and exam-focused instruction aligned with the GES curriculum, while nurturing creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Career Technology across JHS levels, with emphasis on JHS3 BECE preparation
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the GES syllabus
- Prepare students for internal assessments and external examinations
- Conduct practical lessons using appropriate tools and materials
- Assess, grade, and provide feedback on student work
- Maintain accurate lesson notes, records, and reports
- Collaborate with other teachers to support overall academic excellence
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Education, Career Technology, Technical Education, or related field
- Proven experience preparing JHS3 students for examinations
- Knowledge of the BECE format and expectations
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for hands-on and practical teaching
- Teaching license or certification is an advantage
