Job Summary

A reputable school is looking for the service of experience and qualify school business development officer to employ, proactive driven and detail-oriented to identify school business growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase enrolment to maximized profit. Quality applicant must be rooted in both GES and Cambridge curriculum.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties:

  • Develops the school-wide operations vision that supports and enables the academic and cultural vision of the school.
  • Strong ability to develop or create a positive school culture.
  • Ability to develop child protection policies.
  • Ability to create school marketing and branding policy.
  • Write or adapt a financial management policy.
  • Ability to develop and operate Cambridge international and GES School curriculum.
  • Ability to create  classroom design policy programme.
  • Ability to develop innovation and digitization of education.
  • Evaluate the performance of teachers.
  • Perform public relation functions as delegated by the Director.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly and yearly school report to the Director.
  • Create a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment among the teachers and students.
  • Ability to lead the school to obtain excellent BECE result.
  • Plays a leadership role in the school’s strategic and annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Hires, manages, coaches, and develops school operations team members (including front office staff and vendors) and holds them accountable to goals and outcomes.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for the district office, responding to requests and collaborating with district colleagues to build scalable, district-wide systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Manages the school purchasing process by establishing clear systems for staff to request items, placing orders with vendors, tracking delivery, and coding and submitting purchases orders, invoices, and reimbursement requests; approves school purchases under a specific financial threshold.
  • Owns all logistics (e.g. transportation, lodging, meals, staffing plan, etc.) for all off-site field trips and all on-site Special events (Report Card Nights, Performances, Graduation, staff celebrations, etc.).
  • Serves as point person for hosting visitors on school tours.
  • Ensures that students and staff have access to needed technology and works with local school technology team to plan technology related enhancements.
  • Leads the school Day One process each year to ensure the school is ready to open by ordering furniture, equipment, instructional supplies, and ensuring that student services (e.g. food service, transportation) are ready.
  • Manages the school’s supply and asset inventory (e.g. computers, textbooks).
  • Manages systems for and maintains accurate student data and information in compliance with GES and Cambridge international school expectations.



Qualification and Requirements.

  1. Bsc in business administration or management, education or related field
  2. Proficient in Microsoft office.
  3. At least 3 years experience in business development, administration, sales and marketing.
  4. Must be residing in Greater Kumasi, preferably Ejisu and its environs.
