River Haus is a hospitality and dining concept connected to BaseNord, a Scandinavian-inspired business and coworking hub in East Legon, Accra.

Together, BaseNord and River Haus create a space where work, business, hospitality, and community come together. While BaseNord provides a premium environment for coworking, private offices, meetings, and business connections, River Haus complements the experience through food, coffee, and warm, thoughtful hospitality.

River Haus is looking for a passionate, friendly, and skilled Barista to join our growing hospitality team in Accra.

As a Barista at River Haus, you will be responsible for creating quality coffee and beverage experiences while providing warm and professional service to our guests. You will play an important role in creating the welcoming atmosphere that defines the River Haus experience.

 Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.

* Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

* Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented bar and service area.

* Operate and care for coffee machines, grinders, and other bar equipment.

* Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of beverages.

* Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.

* Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.

* Work closely with the kitchen and restaurant team to ensure smooth daily operations.

* Contribute to a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

* 2 years of previous experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.

* Good knowledge of coffee preparation and basic barista techniques.

* Strong customer service and communication skills.

* Friendly, professional, and well-presented.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
